speaker whiring
I recently purchased a kicker amplified controller (specs are below). It has wires for only 2 speakers. I have 4 speakers in my truck. I need help figuring out how to wire them. I have 2 KS Series 4" Coax speakers in the kick panels (specs are below) and 2 Boston Acoustic 3" Speakers (4ohm, 15W nom., 30W peak with 13 mm tweeter) in the dash (specs are below). They show 2 ways of wiring them and I don't know which one to do or maybe something totally.

Re: speaker whiring
Ideally, you would use 1 speaker per channel. However, your amp is 2 ohm stable, so wire them in "Parallel" per the diagram you posted. 2 speakers per channel.

Or can it branch off from the wire? Does it matter if the wires go to the 2 ohm speakers first or the 4 ohm speakers first? |

Re: speaker whiring
Also the the Boston speaker are not marked as positive or negative at the terminals. How do I tell which one is which?

Re: speaker whiring
Wire it just like the diagram you posted. Both the Boston and Kickers are 4ohm. Put one of each on each channel. 4 ohm + 4 ohm in parallel = 2 ohm load on the amp.

Re: speaker whiring
Awesome thinks for some reason in my head I keep thinking the Bostons are 2 ohm when they are 4. Sorry for the confusion.
