I’ve installed a few sets. Out of all I’ve already had one pair rub, but upon further inspection the inside of wheels had just a little bit of rough road grime that would rub every now and then. Cleaned them well and no issues. Maybe an 1/8 spacer may help instead of new wheels.

Did you use a steel Chevy ralley wheel like a corvette ralley and if so do you know what the back spacing is? For what I'm doing a spacer is not an option.
