Chevelle rear coil spring info.

Just thought I'd throw this out there. I put some Chevelle rear springs in my 72 longbox and it dropped it about 2". Kinda dissapointing as I had heard it would drop as much as 4". But I have no idea how much sag the old springs had in them and at the same time. I also removed the old grampa hitch bumper. So you gotta take that reduction of about 150lbs. into account, lol.

If anyone needs chevelle springs, i have the Old ones out of my 70 Monte for 30 bucks, I put some taller springs in the Monte to lift the back and dont want the stock ones anymore pm me

I heard 4" also and have been recently thinking about trying it also. Last time I checked, the rear of my truck sat at 32.75" with a 28" tire.
