How in the world did you ever get through Iowa???? Did you just beat the big blizzard? The whole Northwestern part of the state was shut down. LockDoc

Seriously, I got about 10 miles past Ankeny around 1pm on sunday and turned around. It was bad! About the same time they shut I35 down. Sat in a motel for the next couple of days. On Tuesday am there were still 47 cars in the ditches within an hour of my motel. I left TX on sat and had wind gusts up to 60 i heard and continued all the way into iowa at 50 mph gusts. My gas mileage was down to 6.2! Glad I smuggled some lone star beer back with me.
