Possible to find original dealership sold at?

I know from decoding my vin number that my 61’ was built in Los Angeles and found a receipt in the shop Manuel for Valves and valve springs from a Chevy repair ship in San Gabriel dated June 12 1972. And also my truck is registered with 63 and later black & yellow plates starting with latter H. So I’m assuming my truck may have never been sold off the lot sometime around 1965–1966
I picked up the truck in Alta dena from a gardener who owned it for a year that bought it from a customers father who lived I believe in Pasadena or San Gabriel

With that info I’m assuming it’s never the San Gabriel valley.

Any information on that would help!

Fair assumption.
Of course I'm reading into the "...it’s never the San Gabriel valley" thing.
