71 C-30 front suspension/brakes/steering
Working on a 71 c-30, catalogs and parts stores seem to be not totally in agreement on what fits, looking to replace all brake parts and convert from manual to power steering, I'm being told most square body stuff bolts up but just not sure. Who has redone a 71/2 disc brake front end?

Re: 71 C-30 front suspension/brakes/steering
Never repaired actual 71-72 stuff, but I converted my 69 to disc. It was easier for me to rob the parts off of a 78 than try to locate the 71-72 stuff. I think the only difference was the rotor assy and the caliper because of the thickness of the rotor. Of course I had to swap the spindle for my conversion. In your case, I don't know about the caliper mount. I do know the bearings and seal are the same from 71-90
