Re: Extreme porterbuilt build threads
Are you looking to do a body drop? I think it’s overrated. I have front and rear v7 and my pinch weld sits about 1/8” off the ground. To me, going through all the trouble to body drop for that extra 1/8” of an inch is not worth it. I remember talking to Dave a while back and he said those that do the body drop are people who want to do that small subtle thing that people never really notices. He also said, unless you’re really looking for it, you’ll never know.
Here’s a pic of my pinch weld:

Re: Extreme porterbuilt build threads
Yeah I'm starting to have second thoughts about body drop. Problem is I already took the 4 side cab mounts off. I feel like I'm stuck with a body drop now cause I don't see aftermarket factory mounts anywhere to bolt back on

Re: Extreme porterbuilt build threads
I did the body drop on a former project and took it off and sold it. For me it was a result of figment issues with my big block/distributor. I found a set of replacement mounts here on the forum for about $50.

I believe you can get replacement mounts from LMC.
