introduction
I just posted a thread as a new member, but didn't introduce myself.
I'm a New Mexico native, living in Silver City, a small town in the southwest corner of the state. I've had this truck, a 1979 Chevy K10 since the late 80's. Used it to launch my ski boat and hauled garbage to the dump about once a month. I quit using it and it has "rested" since 2012, the last time I registered it. During that time, the pack rats (New Mexico's unofficial state animal) moved in. I opened up the hood one day and couldn't see the motor, BIG rat nest, as well as inside. After several days, I got it cleaned out and running again, lot's of wires to replace as well as power washing the inside of the cab, and that's another story, guages don't like this! I've rebuilt or replaced all gauges inside and it is running again, except for problem in the previous message I posted. I will have many more questions that I'm sure this forum can help me with. Right now, i'm still needing an answer on the fuel selector valve. Thanks for the help |
