WTB: NP205 Shifter Knob 3/8"-24 fine thread

Like the title says, I'm looking for a black shifter knob like the ones in the picture, for a NP205 that has the 3/8"-24 fine thread. Thanks.

You have the wrong pics, as you need a blank black knob with no pattern then to have a 69-70 np205 knob.

I thought he did too as I had a 69 and 70 ..both were blank but my 70 had a dana 20...unsure on what the 69 had but the knob was blank as instructions are on the glovebox door.

I understand, but I'm not going for originality. I already have the original blank black knob. Nice catch though.

Don’t want to hijack the OP’s thread but I’d be interested in a 7/16 np205 knob if any are available. PM me.

Re: WTB: NP205 Shifter Knob 3/8"-24 fine thread

OK everyone I'm going to consider this thread dead. I didn't realize that the knob I need is only available as 7/16" thread and not 3/8"-24. Thanks for the education and sorry if I wasted anyone's time.

Looks like I may try an aftermarket knob from a different truck make. Maybe something like:

We had mentioned the NP205 t/c lever and knob thread differences a few weeks back in the below linked F/S thread, there are also two 71-72 t/c shift levers available in same thread should you decide to swap/convert over to the later style lever with the larger 7/16"-20 NF threads. Mel

Re: WTB: NP205 Shifter Knob 3/8"-24 fine thread

So here is what I ended up going with for the TC shift knob. It has an internal adapter for the 3/8"-24 fine thread. It's not like the flatter original style knob, but I don't care. This one is round, but it will do just fine for my build. At $23 with no tax and free shipping I'm just fine with it.

I have an early square type in 3/8 sitting on the desk now. I say early because from back in the day I remember them as soft and sort of rubbery. This one's hard.
