Buddy bucket parts
So, I got to start taking my buddy buckets apart today so I can get frames cleaned up and repainted before I take them to the local seat guy for assembly. Trying to get one of the nuts of the DS seat track it kept just spinning. Finally took my nut splitter and got the nut off. Issue is the stud has no threads on it and is worn down enough I dont feel I could put a tap on it to rethread it. Does anyone know if these small headed carriage bolts are available aftermarket? It is real loose in the track so pretty sure I can get it out without damage to track. I could probably modify the head on a regular carriage bolt but just wanted to check for the correct on 1st.
Thanks .

Dwayne
Thanks for the offer. It is actually 5-16 course thread. I have a couple more places to search 1st. My 1st thought was to just get a regular one and just grind the head down I am just not sure how much meat would be left.
