Non-glare glass available?
Something that drives me nuts! Sometimes it's almost impossible to see what's behind me thru the rearview mirror, especially at night. The problem is, I get a reflection of what's in front of me thru the windshield. It's really annoying with taillights. I feel like I'm in the Matrix trying to focus thru the different planes. I'm wondering if there is non-glare glass available. Anyone else experience this? It's kinda like this picture.

Re: Non-glare glass available?
If your eyes are about level with the rear view mirror, you can get some pretty bad reflection going from light coming in from in front. That flat vertical back glass makes a pretty good mirror.
I accidentally mostly fixed my reflection problem when I used a cab roof mount mirror after the glue failed on the OEM mirror. That changed the angles enough that most of the reflected light from the front now misses my eyes. |
