Interior Color Help
Ok.....not really looking for stock codes or anything, I guess Interior Color OPINION would have been a better title...
Then outside of my 47 3600 is going to be red, with black grill and running boards. The frame/axles are going to be black....My question is - what do I paint the dash/doors, etc? Red? Black? Grey? Purple spots (kidding)? The seat is black. I'd like to narrow things down so I can start painting small parts. Also -What about the block/transmission/bellhousing (stock 4 speed), head, brake MC bracket, etc? I am thinking that I want them to contrast the black frame and inner wells. Valve cover is chrome... Just asking for suggestions! |

Re: Interior Color Help
personally, I would opt for something with less pop than others. the dash is going to reflect the light back into your eyes if it is a glossy finish and a bright color is also gonna be hard on the eyes after a bit of driving. I would go with a satin finish in something that won't get too hot in the sun and also no be too light colored so it is hard to look past when driving.
my opinion only. black would be my last choice. |
