Electrical question
Hi hope someone can help me out. I have a 71 c20 the problem I’m having is sometimes the left Brake light won’t work. But if I turn on my left turn signal then cancel it the brake light will start working for a bit.. I’m definitely not a beginner working on vehicles but this has me stumped.. any help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

Re: Electrical question
Seems like you have a bad turn switch. The brake lights go through the turn switch. If the contacs are loose or sticking they don't go back to the center position all the time.

Re: Electrical question
Had a similar problem several years ago. Sprayed the crap out of switch with contact cleaner (DeOyx) and its been working ever since.
