Re: Flood in Nebraska & my K-20
Mt. Home RV in Valley. I'm headed there this morning to retrieve my old fishing boat, and have a look at the truck.

Re: Flood in Nebraska & my K-20
Took highway 36 all the way to Valley. Boat is home, truck still there. I have another month of storage, ground out there very squishy...so it will stay for a little while.
Flat tire on the trailer, so had to change that on the spot. Guy's at Mt. Home RV super helpful. Both guys at Mr. Home wanted to buy my K-20 : )

Re: Flood in Nebraska & my K-20
Hey Daubs,
Floods, man. I was a senior in high school back when the Red River flooded Grand Forks, ND in the spring of 1997 and my '72 C20 was in my parents garage with a cracked block, I think. That was so long ago, I can't recall why the truck was inoperable before the flood. When we got the chance to get back to the house, the water was halfway up the cab, but luckily didn't get into the dash and the cluster. My dad had a used motor dropped in and the trans rebuilt and she's still going to this day. I dropped a used 350 into it recently and now I run it on short trip errands around town. Here's to you and yours staying safe and very glad to hear that your truck didn't drown, sir! Can't wait to see pictures of this truck. Best of luck!
