Got carb, now what?
I'm installing a carter carburator (Just like edelbrock) I got from board member 70c10 (Great guy to deal with btw) and I've just got a few questions. My old Holly was manual choke so I know I've got to run a wire from fuseblock to choke that is hot with key, but what guage wire and do I need to put an inline fuse with it. Also, what about linkage connection. My throttle cable, and detent cable, and springs don't look to smooth so far. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Jeremy.

Use 16 ga. red wire from a switched source on the fuse block. I think a 5A inline fuse would be alright for this application.

The linkage is in the same spot as a holley i switched back and forth a few times back in the day the only swap that ran into any probs was q-jet to edelbrock or holley .

Wow Jeremy, that got there faster than I thought!. As far as the linkage goes, my truck has the rod style linkage and I had no problems going from that carb to the Demon. There should be lots of pics on here with guys running Edelbrock's with the cable setup like yours. Also for the manual that you can print out go here: www.edelbrock.com and look for the square bore EPS manual. Keep us posted!
