Talking 69-72 Custom Hood Ornament

"CHEVROLET" SCRIPT HOOD ORNAMENT. Some one was asking about this a couple of weeks ago. This one is on my truck and dealer installed. Still available in Chevy restoration parts catalog.

Interesting, is the round Chevrolet part spring loaded (does it move around) or is it fixed? Just curious.

Thanks that good stuff to know. Chevy must of had a lot of em left so the
dealers around here put em on trucks.

Believe this was more or less a local thing--my '72 had one on it. I'm not aware of dealers installing these and I'm not convinced it adds to the truck's appearance.
