76 C10 oil Dipstick location?

Hey all.

Dumb question. I have a 76 C10 stepside with 4.8l engine (that’s what supposed to be in this one). This past weekend I changed the transmission gasket and while under there I drained the oil and changed the filter.

I refilled the trans fluid through the dipstick. Refilled the oil through the breather valve. But I can’t find the oil dipstick. I can’t find where the dipstick should be?

Is that the tube for the oil dipstick on the passenger side underneath the lower heater hose?

yep. the dipstick is snaked up along the tube going to the radiator. i was just not seeing till you pointed out on the pic.
