Transporter recommendations

Does anyone have any recommendations for a transport service in the pacific northwest. Looking to move a few trucks from Washington to Idaho. Thanks!

Re: Transporter recommendations

Call Bob Frye at Cimarron Auto Transport. 480-710-2094. Highly recommended and trusted! I just used him to transport my 70 CST. Owner/operator. If you're lucky he'll be driving your route and be able to get you on his truck.

BTW, don't waste your time with a broker and don't request a quote online unless you want to be bombarded with phone calls, texts, and emails from brokers wanting to give you a "deal".

Facebook group Car Transport / Car Hauling / Vehicle Shipping Open & Enclosed.

Post in the group and you'll end up with some offers or links to fill out info. I never deal with the brokers either as I've learned there's a bunch of people are into transporting but don't have MC numbers or proper paperwork and insurance to cover any losses.

I know exactly what you mean there. I did that a month ago for the 67 GMC 4x4 from Washington to Idaho on a specific date. I was still getting text messages, and bombarded with quotes three weeks after I already got the truck on the specified date. One thing I did notice is that I got quotes in the $500 to 600 range right after I requested the quote. Two to three days before the date I had several offer at $250 to 350. I already had a trailer rented and the seller was only available at particular time on Sunday. So I just went after it myself.

Re: Transporter recommendations

If the earlier recommendation doesn't work out, I had two trucks shipped from CA to NV within the past 8-10 months. I used a company called Platinum Shippers and they were on time and professional.
I came across them from the site U-ship for my first shipment, and called them direct for the second.
Would highly recommend.

Here is a phone# (646) 515-1450. I don't recall if that's the guy's direct cell, or office #.

Thanks,

Kevin
