Smile It followed me home...honest it did....

Wife is not going to be impressed, as we are "cleaning up" to move to FL....but it seriously followed me home !

Going to clean it out, oil it up real good and ship it to FL for future project....

Nice! I love the 55-59 trucks... obviously I’m a little biased!

Remember....never say that unless she reciprocates with returning all the shoes she bought and has in her closet.....or your closet for that matter depending on who is paying the lion's share of the mortgage, lol
I don't think I've ever heard a woman ask a man if she can buy some more new shoes or yet another purse......lol. Wouldn't that be some type of oppression?....no shortage of that going around these days, lol.

So...that means its yours....but always best to 'set the table' on these types of purchases and always reference the increasing investment value.

lol

All good

Re: It followed me home...honest it did....

I was so poor growing up that I still try as hard as I can to not spend money. My wife is an only child and has no problem with spending money. ONE of her sewing/embroidery machines (she has four, plus a "serger", whatever that is) cost more than every mechanic tool I have, and I made a living with them. I'd like to buy that '68 C20 longbed stepside that I saw in the CL thread, but hate to spend the money. I'll probably die before I can loosen my fist on my own money.

Re: It followed me home...honest it did....

That was the first GMC that I ever owned. And the first truck too, come to think of it. It was a 1959 fleetside!
