Pittsburgh 2T Engine Stand
Bought this used and have a 350 bolted t it. Problem is that if I take it off my hoist the engine tip's down so much I am uncomfortable unchaining it. I have even tried reversing the main load bearing center support because it looks like it leans forward somewhat when empty. Holes for bolts do not line up when trying to turn support around. Using 3" bolts for mounting engine. Probably going to build a wood front brace for extra support but just frustrated -----

Re: Pittsburgh 2T Engine Stand
Most likely the head tube is not welded on correctly....
I tried two a while back, one had your issue, the other had really bad welds... I got a refund and bought a Strongway from Northern Tool.... Handles anything I build....SBC, BBC, LS....even ahd a BB Chrysler on it...no problems... https://www.northerntool.com/shop/to...SABEgJV2vD_BwE

Re: Pittsburgh 2T Engine Stand
The one ton harbor freight stand is badass. I've had both my 427's on it and no goofy flex. The 1/2 ton stand, well that's a different story.
