Anyone have a need/use for this?
Buying this 72 C65 that original had a 427 and air brakes. He says he has all of the air components, previous owners put new bushings in the rear suspension. The 427 blew up and is pulled but the transmission and suspension it still mounted up. Has Eaton 34000 rear axles and hydro assist 14000 front with 5 speed. (If that makes any sense lol) I have a deal to buy the cab and front end o oh but I’d hate to see the rest get chopped up and hauled off which is where it would go. If anyone has a use for some of it let me know. I’ve got a pasture it can set in. Here are the pictures I have. You can post on here or my phone number is7852591658

Re: Anyone have a need/use for this?
Was a running and driving truck before the motor blew. I plan on keeping the cab and front clip. Or at least stripping the cab out for parts unless someone really wants it together

So besides a dead powerplant, what is wrong with or missing from it being a complete chassis? Is it a single or tandem rear?

Tandem twin screw. I’ll have to see if I can go out there and get pictures. But he says he says everything for it aside from the auxiliary transmission and driveshafts. He has the motor but it’s got a hole in the block. Has has the radiator, air compressor etc. I’m asking him about it and trying to get a time to pick it up

Photo is blurry, but it looks like a short wheelbase. Could make a real nice tandem dump. Would hate to see it cut up and parted out.

Re: Anyone have a need/use for this?
I'd love to have all of it, but it is just too far away to justify.

Re: Anyone have a need/use for this?
I'd like the tow hooks/hardware, and the manual throttle setup if you would consider shipping.

Re: Anyone have a need/use for this?
Must have been a pretty cool truck when new.
Still now would be a great parts truck, if no longer restore-able. If it's got 14 Fronts then that is pretty heavy for a Medium. My 9500 only had 12 Fronts.

Re: Anyone have a need/use for this?
The whole truck as it sits I’ll sell for 1500 which is only me making a few hundred bucks. I bought the cab and front end for $500 and the rest of the suspension, air compressor, radiator, etc for another 500. But I’ll have to load it and haul it and set it at my place so I think that’s a fair price. Does have a title. But that’s where I’m at on all of it, had some interest in the whole thing so I’ll start there. If I don’t get it sold complete I’ll part it.

Re: Anyone have a need/use for this?
Its for sale as a whole unit for a short while longer before I end up pulling the cab and front end off and parting it and hauling the rest to the junk. 1300.00 for the whole truck clean title
