Re: Hubcap fit
I don't think so. Pretty sure those are for 15" wheels. Plus I don't think they'll fit over a "Floating Axle" Hub on the rear.

Re: Hubcap fit
3/4 ton didn't have wheel covers. I agree that the pictured covers are 15" 1/2 ton caps.

Re: Hubcap fit
I dunno if you saved money. Those small caps seem to be very rare and expensive when you find a nice set.

Re: Hubcap fit
Post a pic of your wheels, that will tell us which style hubcaps you can use.

Re: Hubcap fit
69-75 style in chrome or stainless. There were painted as well, which ran later. Then there are 76-91 hubcaps. There were also wheelcovers GM trucks beginning in '78 I believe. There are a couple styles of those for 16" wheels. The 76-91s will be your easiest and cheaper option

Re: Hubcap fit
So I bought a set of those hubcaps, they fit on the front fine, but they didn't fit the rear due to the rear hubs, so I made them fit by cutting out the centers..Ha, so sue me..
Are there caps that fit over the rear Center hub like this??

Re: Hubcap fit
more than one way to skin a cat
but I'm curious, if they fit 8 lug wheels, why not over rear hubs

Re: Hubcap fit
The rear hubs are shorter on the 14 bolt rearends that those hubcaps were designed to clear.

Re: Hubcap fit
Not a 100% sure, but I think these caps fit over the DANA 60 floater rear axle. (first pic) They are a bit pricey though. I'm running the same caps you are. I got them off of my Brother in laws, '89 K20 Suburban. Since the front caps had the factory hole in it for the locking hubs, I just enlarged them and run them on the rear. I'm good with the look.

I ended up buying the period correct caps, as seen on the yellow truck in PepperTreeGarage's post and those clear the Dana 60 full floater hubs. Now, one thing to watch out for, is I believe they made the same style caps for 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton so they "look" alike but they're different sizes.

Re: Hubcap fit
I think the 76-91 hubcaps fit 14-bolt and HO52 but not Dana60. I have run them on HO52s before
The 14-bolt full-floater and HO52 are very similar with 'somewhat' interchanging parts. *You can use a 14-bolt differential in an HO52 if you use the 14-bolt axles shafts, different splines. The 14-bolt shafts are about 3/4" longer and need to be cut. *You can put 14-bolt brakes on an HO52, axle flange-out/complete So you can 'create' an HO52 with 3.73s or 3.42s. And then your hubcaps will fit

and I thought both of the caps PepperTreeGarage posted were the same fitment didn't the caps on that longhorn go up into the squares a few years? guess they had a lot of extra space.. so after test fitting both of mine, crisis averted, they fit! thank goodness, hate to have to toss a factory no-spin 4.10 I was planning to pick up a couple of sets of beaters of that later style but guess I'll pass based on what I learned here.. thanks all!
