Tranny refill
My 80' C30 does not seem to have a tran. dipstick. I've looked and felt all around for opening, but cannot find. Would be pointless to lift engine out at this time while I'm trying to get it running again, and manual for truck is still being shipped here. Anyone know where the filler opening is or am I just totally lost here??

What you will have to do is take the plug out of the Passenger side of the trans there will be two Plugs one low and one high .
Fill the top one untill gear oil trickles out. If you were wanting to change it remove the bottom plug let the oil drain then refill as i specified above. Use 80-90 Gear oil . |
