1972 GMC Nebraskan
1972 GMC on a estate sale says it has the rare Nebraskan package.I’ve never heard of this but I’m no expert.What do the experts say.

Lots of dealers had specialty packages. I have never heard of that one, but it doesn;t mean it didn't exist. I don't think it was one by GM though.

Dealer specialty package. Here in Utah the Olds dealers had a special Cutlass package in the 70s - Utah's Fantastic Oldsmobile. That's right, the special-edition Cutlasses wore UFO badges.

This is the first I've heard of a "Nebraskan" package...Interesting, love those 59 & 60 El Camino's, I didn't see a Jimmy either...OK, seen it, cool beans! Is it me or is that a Longhorn? Bed looks long...?

Probably the dealer ordered base trucks and put a select group of options at a special price on. Maybe only certain color or colors. Looks like a base model with chrome trim and bumpers, two-tone top, V8/auto/radio/gauges. I'm surprised they weren't red & white. That would be a 'Husker'

Unless there's some sort of documentation - for all we know the ol feller just slapped on some Nebraskan emblems he bought at the Nebraska state line gift shop - then called it the Nebraskan for so long that it just became a "rare" Nebraskan. Who knows. I DO like that K20 Cheyenne...

Well I'm from nebraska and looking at it, the nebraskan package means it comes with the Nebraska rust special.
