Torque Spec for Aluminum Intake Bolts

What it says. Replacing the intake manifold gaskets on my suburban today and need the torque spec for the bolts. Manifold is an aluminum Edelbrock Performer.

I just use a wrench and do it by feel but to quote my rebuilding your small block chevy by david vizard book i think there 22 ft pounds but thats cast iron not really sure if you use a differnet spec for alum.

I've done hundreds of them, just tighten them down and have never had any problems.

Yeah thats me Ive got all kinds of high dollar snap on torque wrench it never see's and intake Just a 3/8 rachet to snug them down and then an open end wrench
