its kinda neat when you find an old person that bought a vehicle brand new and didn't drive it hardly at all. in the town I work in, there is a mid 70's Ford F-250 4x4 that has a hair over 6k, interior is mint but its parked under a tree...grr.
One of my buddies fathers bought an older monte and did the same thing...he bought it, drove it home into the garage, and let it sit. he will drive it once a year on a sunny day. it has less than 1k miles, but offhand i dont know the specs of the car. also, it can be neat to check older pickups that fire departments have. they usually lead fairly easy lives and have low miles. the town i work in owns an early 70's International 1 ton 4x4 stepside with less than 10k, in flawless shape.

yeah, but you'll never be able to buy em. I do heating & air & a long time customer had an 89 mustang 5.0 not the GT, 8000 miles. He was at the time 80 somthing & had'nt drove in at least 3yrs. I tried every time i was there to buy it, & even left my # & said call me if you ever want to. Fast forward 3 or 4 months, I was at his neighbors fixing the furnace & started talking about him & his car & how I've been trying to buy it for 5 yrs or so. She says then youre not gonna like what i tell ya. He sold it to the cleaning lady's son 18 yr old kid. Hell the stinkin cleaning lady just started for him within the last 6 months. Im still frustrated on that one. Oh yeah i almost forgot the best part. I offerd him 5000 for it I found out he sold it to her son for 2000. She must have some real nice big beautiful round everwanting EYES.lol. Oh well the old man is still able to be manipulated by a woman. Ive seen the cleaning lady & she is purdy nice looking. End of rant.
