are these 4x4 v8 engine mounts

bought a 1969 k20 with no engine. the prior owner cut the engine cross member out. I am looking to find out if the engine mounts are small block v8? the tag in glove box says the truck was built with a 396 cid but who knows what the prior owner had in the engine bay. can anyone help id the mounts in the photo please? I have 350 I want to put in it. thanks

Correct me if I am wrong, guys, but I don't think any Ks from this era came with BBCs . . . .???

either the K20 or the 396 are incorrect for that vehicle as they could not have come together in 67-72 from the factory..

if the 396 SPID and glove box go with the chassis, then the mounts in there may still be BBC, but the 4wd components would have been added..

if the SPID and glove box are not from the chassis and it's a factory K frame, the mounts would have been SBC if factory V8 equipped..

some dimensions will likely need to be compared to be sure, someone should be along soon with those..

good luck!

Re: are these 4x4 v8 engine mounts

killer bee may be right. the cab has been replaced. so option tag would be wrong. but the guy I purchased it from told me it had a big block. you know how people say things when trying to sell a truck. I just hope I can put my 350 in it. I will try to attach a photo of option tag.

Re: are these 4x4 v8 engine mounts

previous owner may have bought it with cab swapped and didn't know the difference..

either way, may be to your advantage if it pans out to have had a SBC

let this thread soak for a day or so and the guys that know how to ID the different mounts will help you out..

good luck!

Yes they are v8 4x4 mounts.
From my K20. You might be able to find the lower part of the crossmember from the parts board.
