Rear disc brake conversion question

I have a 1969 K20 with the 8 Lug Eaton rear end. Is there / can you convert to rear disc brakes for this set up?

Thanks.

Yes, Ruff Stuff Specialties makes an adapter bracket that bolts on to the Eaton HO52.

You can then use the front disc calipers and rotors off a 71 and up. Not sure how the e-brake would work though.

Re: Rear disc brake conversion question

That looks like a good kit lowlife99. Here's another but more expensive. I'll decide today which one to order for my 72 K20. http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/catalog/R2053.html

Original poster, did you ever accomplish this?

Re: Rear disc brake conversion question

I helped install the kit from lugnut 4x4 a month ago. On a c20 it was way better than my cpp kit for my c10. I would recommend lugnut 4x4.
