Today when you see a restored truck in a work pose you can usually tell it doesn't have to work for its pay. But when a truck was seen in an old movie, especially one of the larger series trucks, it truly represented a working truck. It was supposed to look like what an average person would see on the street. So they did what they did in the movies to do exactly what they could do in the real world.

But seriously, I'm glad some like this thread so much. I had no idea when I started it that there are so many vintage AD & TF Chevy truck pics out there. Keep them coming. I really enjoy seeing them.
It's a truly great thread and it's really brought out some interesting stuff. Thank you for starting it!
