Wheeler dealers show c10

Not my favorite car show but If there is a C10 on I’m tuning in
Anyone notice the width of those old school BF Goodrich radial TAs on it.
Any idea on what size they might be. Looked good on the truck.
Looking for new tires on my 15x7. 5 lugs.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Mark

Re: Wheeler dealers show c10

I know they didn't mention the wheel width so, sorry no help there. As a general comment, I like what they did to the truck and didn't mind that it was a long bed.

Sorry I can't help with your question but I did watch the episode. I generally like the show since it's not full of drama and foul language and can watch it in the presence of my daughter. I did chuckle when they mentioned that the truck had a "front disc brake conversion". It was a 1971 C10.

Yeah. I caught that too. Funny.
The funniest one was on fandom works.
They broke two windshields and in the end couldn’t get the stainless trim in.
At least I’m not the only one struggling with windshield trim
I know the wheels where stock on the wheeler dealers episode Just don’t sure if they were 7 or 8” width. I’m not up to speed on that.
Getting tires this season and would like something wider
Love the look of the radial TAs

Stock GM, but not original to 67-72 era - rallies first available mid-squarebody era.. They do look good on just about any truck though! Agree, even staring at a picture of them, kinda hard to tell if 7" or 8".

Re: Wheeler dealers show c10

I'm looking at the episode and grabbed a screenshot. Looks very similar to my wheels which are a 275/60 R15.

Re: Wheeler dealers show c10

I agree with TA, they look like 275/60-15's on 15x8's.

Same set up I ran for years on mine, except I used 15x7 passenger car style beauty rings on my 8" wheels -

As a side note, I liked the show more when Ed China was the mechanic.

The show lost me when Ed left. Can’t handle either of these guys in America. I did enjoy it when in England. Can’t believe they couldn’t find an American to work on American iron ?

I thought I heard them say it was a 200R4, I believe that is how they got away using the factory driveshaft. When they said it was a non-locking converter he really meant it does not unlock. 200R4 use locked converters.

The web says they got rid of Ed China as part of a plan to dumb down the show so it wasn't so technical. Looks like it worked, these dudes don't know what they are talking about. Just what we need, next they will add some scripts and staged arguments.

This was his version of events that transpired to separate him from the show 2 years ago...

...Since then he may have divulged more info but that's enough for me.

Re: Wheeler dealers show c10

Don’t believe a word they say they are English I watched a couple of episodes. Is this the show where they buy a car do 5k of repair work and say they made a profit of 750 quid? Nice to see they did a c10 episode though I’m going to look out for that
