Windshield Washer Assembly Questions
Hi All
Attached is my windshield washer assembly attached to the motor. The washer part did not work before I took everything apart and now I am getting everything ready to go back in. I looked at several vendors for a replacement but none have this exact type that I could tell. So this is from my 66 C10....What exactly is it and where do I get a new one? How can I check this one to see what the issues is to make sure I NEED a new one. Thanks for your help so very much, John

Re: Windshield Washer Assembly Questions
The washer pump is inside, take the clip off the housing and you will be able to see inside. I did mine last summer and replaced the pump (Classic parts) with a new wiper motor. Found on Amazon (Made in U.S.A.), You might need to save the rubber bushing from the old motor and you should be able to find the seal to mount back on the fire wall.... Glad I did mine! And the wiper trans that I bought from you are working GREAT! Bob

Re: Windshield Washer Assembly Questions
Did your new pump look exactly like the one you took off? I have seen the pumps but the do not look like the one I have in any fashion.

Re: Windshield Washer Assembly Questions
When I reassembled the new pump on the wiper motor everything went back as it came apart. I used the same housing over the pump but as I recall there was a different way to secure the housing back on the motor. I think maybe a different screw to hold the cover on. When it was all done it looked the same as the old pump. This is the pump that I used from Classic, https://www.classicparts.com Part #67-825 Hope this helps..................
