Back when I used to run 15" a 265/50 on the rear and 245/50 on front always looked good.

I run p246/60/15 on the front of mine. No more rubbing the outside of the fender since I changed wheels with more back space

Wheel backspace is the trick. If your using an 15x8" wheel you might go another half inch to inch on the BS.
