Door help please!

I have a build thread of this truck in the projects section, but here's the issue...72 C10, I've replaced the whole floor, cab corners, rockers, A and B pillars. Original doors were fitted prior to final welding of cab and fit fantastic. I just finished new door bottoms and skins on the original doors shells and took a ton of measurements prior to skinning but cannot get the darn things close without contact on the rocker from the door bottom and cannot open the doors without the front lower door skin scraping the rocker as it swings open. I have them adjusted up as high as they can go.

Both doors have this issue, body lines match up well except passenger vent window frame hits the windshield frame. I think I can bend that aft-word a little to fit better

I think I either need a BFH and block of wood to clearance the door bottoms or I need to cut out the rocker again and lower it. The bottom of the door skin will probably be cut back 1/4" and rewelded to get the clearance there.

Question is, before cutting or hammering should I try shimming the cab? Would that make any difference?

Any tips or tricks would be appreciated.
