Transport/Transit 22" Steel Wheels - rear spacer thickness?
Hi -
Those running transit/transport wheels on a 70 and earlier truck (with narrow rear diff), what thickness spacers are you running to get it all to clear? Post a pic of your truck or any shots showing the clearance. Thanks!

Have one I’m doing for a customer. Has transits. Rear is using a 2” spacer. This is on a 67 Gmc leaf spring truck with the HD rear end

Re: Transport/Transit 22" Steel Wheels - rear spacer thickness?
I am running a different wheel but it’s sill the modern bore and stud size.
What spacers did you run? I am concerned with the fact that our trucks use a 7/16th stud and the newer wheels use a 14mm That combined with the fact that i doubt anyone makes a hub centric spacer for our trucks that also have a modern hub bore on the outside? |

Re: Transport/Transit 22" Steel Wheels - rear spacer thickness?
For what it’s with I had my rears modified to a 4.375 backspace and fit perfect, no spacer. Then I pulled axles out and had machine shop take them down to fit the transports. Both were cheap. Used some 14mm studs from a Honda Pilot. Think I have some pics in my thread
