Cupped lower question

Okay i have some 9” rings to do my lower i had seen several places that the 8” pipe was to small for 2600s and i got 9” for free

Just wondering about placement i made my mark to stay centered with the factory spring mounting location.

Looking at cups others have done they didn’t center it all the way to avoid the shock mount area.

The 9” will require removing some of that material if i stay centered.

Thoughts suggestions?

Re: Cupped lower question

You can move it away from the shock mount. You may need to drill holes in your upper mounting plate if you move it too far.

Re: Cupped lower question

I installed 8" cups and it was about 1/2" from the shock bracket, so yours looks right on.
