Brake Pedal Push Rod Suggestions

looking for the best option. i installed an 8-inch power booster and need the rod from there to the brake assembly.

Most folks just lengthen the stock rod. If you go to the FAQ section under the part on power brakes there are lots of info on how folks have done it. There are also threads on drilling the mounting hole on the pedal 1" lower to improve the ratio.

I just recently replaced the MC/booster assembly on my brother's '65. I made sure to order a unit that had the adjustable rod included and relocated the hole like other's have mentioned. On a couple of others, the existing rod was modified.

hmmmm, I missed this step. 1" lower? What kind of difference does it make? If you push the MC all the way is it just for a better pedal feel?
