DIY Suspension
Has anyone gone through the trouble of building your own notch and panhard bar? Seems like the cost of materials and time add up to a similar amount for just buying a kit.

Re: DIY Suspension
I have done the notch. Never done a pan hard at this time.
It was easy enough, and allowed me to do it the way I wanted. |

Re: DIY Suspension
I've fabricated a LOT of stuff; my time is free.

Re: DIY Suspension
I definitely would have done my own notch but I don't know how to weld

Re: DIY Suspension
I've done both because I had more time and resources than money and at the time, no company was making a notch for '60-'62. I've been using the same bar since the 90's but have not installed my notches yet, they've been sitting on a shelf since the fall. I hope to have them in during the summer.
