Jim, they did in fact make other sizes of eaton axles...pre 67, 1/2 ton trucks had an axle that looked like the HO52 but was semifloat with 6 lugs. I am not sure of the ring gear size of this axle. They also made a bigger version in some 1 ton trucks called the H135 or something like that, it didnt have a removable diff cover and had a 12.25" ring gear. there were also many other sizes that were available in larger trucks.

but for 67-72 3/4 and 1 ton, only the HO52 and HO72, full floaters with 10.5" ring gear. I think the names have something to do with weight capacity, at 5200# and 7200#, but could be wrong.
