how do you know the fuse is good? i disconnect the neg battery terminal, set a meter to continuity beep, and check every fuse in the panel.

and did you look for any other fuses in the panel that may have blown? i have had prev owners re-wire things on me and it made it harder to troubleshoot. so i never assume things are as they were when it left the factory.
