Re: I need a simple measurement

From my 2wd Burban. The red line is 11" +/- a 1/32. (The stud isn't perfectly straight but it was handy) I'm not sure about your reference to the front holes. As you can see it has an Edlebrock and there may be a slight difference if your using a different carb.
I hope this helps.

PERFECT ! I'm mocking up this cowl plenum and needed a good idea of how it would measure out to the carb .

Funny how I’ve never thought about cowl induction vs a cowl hood that I don’t myself like. Something tells me more will follow.

HaHa , This cowl plenum completely changed this truck build a number of times over the last few years , Here's where the changes started .

A lot has to be done to use this , closing off the interior vents to avoid fumes , vintage air install , I'll be using this style air cleaner by removing the snorkel and adding a 4" oval to attach some flex line to allow for engine torque ,Sending it out for chrome once it fits . stainless screen under cowl and inside where the plenum mouth is to keep any thing from clogging it up along with making sure it drains correctly , etc etc But it should look cool when it's done

Re: I need a simple measurement

I think with 4" hose and this air filter it should move plenty of air for my needs .
