Loose Ball Joint on Door Mirror
I know these replacements aren't that expensive - but hey - 50 bucks is 50 bucks, right?
Just curious if anyone was aware of a work-around to keep the mirror from flopping around. Driving me nuts, please let me know if you know a shade-tree solution or if I'm destined for the Classic Industries shopping cart page haha. Thanks

Re: Loose Ball Joint on Door Mirror
My first thought would be to clean the joint as best as possible and apply wicking type Loctite. Of course this might not be the best advice as who knows how long it would hold and the adjustment will be permanent...

Re: Loose Ball Joint on Door Mirror
Hey thanks! Don't mind it being permanent as i'm the only one who rolls this beauty. I'll give it a shot.

Re: Loose Ball Joint on Door Mirror
I wonder (always have) if there is a tightening screw under the mirror side?

Re: Loose Ball Joint on Door Mirror
Hmmm, I always assumed the ball/joint assy was crimped during manufacture. I guess someone needs to sacrifice a mirror glass to see what's underneath!
