How to properly check fluid level for 400 turbo transmission
I have not owned a chevy in a long time. How do you properly check the fluid level for a 400 turbo transmission behind a chevy small block.
Do you check it while running and in park or neutral? |

But not after an extended drive. Let it run for a few minutes, cycle through the gears, then check while still running.

Re: How to properly check fluid level for 400 turbo transmission
Only thing I can add to that is You must use a red shop rag to remove the fluid from the dipstick before you check the fluid level.
HeavyHauler I hope you got a Good sense of humor . Looks like we have took the (Fluid ) dipstick and run with it. .
