Howdy!

Hello, Road Rash here, I'm starting a full off the frame resto/custom of my 1969 Chevy C10 LWB. I can't wait! Got it almost all the way taken apart, now it's time to buy parts for reassembly. Got me a '03 Yukon as a donor vehicle for the drive train. Might try to use the rack & pinion steering from it too. Anyways, hope to get some progress made soon!!!

Re: Howdy!

Thank you! It is, & has been a great truck. I'm the 3rd generation owner of this family heirloom. My dad bought it brand new off the lot almost a month to the day before I was born. They also had a new Nova at the time, (which I also wish I still had!), but the notes on both vehicles was too much at the time after I came along, so my grandfather took up the notes & drove it for around 20 years til it hurt his leg to work the clutch & then he gave it back to my dad. Originally, it was the light olive with a white top, but in the early 90's, my dad had it repainted, (cheaply & poorly, I might add), & added the white down the sides. My dad gave me the truck when we were both about 25 or 26 & I drove it for nearly decade before setting it up. Now I'm gonna fully restore it & get it back on the road.
