Question Door weatherstriping?

I think that the whistling sound while driving down the highway is going drive me to the nuthouse, so i want install new weatherstrip around my doors this weekend.
The local parts place just had a big roll of the stuff but i thought it was vehicle specific for the corners and such, they didn't seem to think so though.
Can someone help me out with this?
And any installation tips would be appreciated to.

71Chev and a few others have recommended using 1982-93 S10 & S15 Door opening weather-strip. This is they type that is not glued on, rather it has clips in the weatherstripping to secure it. Supposed to seal a bit tighter. I ordered a set a while back from GMC Paul but I have not installed it yet.
