Side step ideas
Hello all. Looking for ideas for side steps for my 72 cheyenne super . I’m going to most likely build myself unless I can find a set that matches the old school look. Post what you have done , and here’s my super !

Re: Side step ideas
I made a pair from diamond plate and 1 1/4" square tube for a truck, no pictures. The tune went to the frame with flanges to bolt through. I had them up snug to the rockers and only stuck out enough to get the front of the boot on. No splash guards at the wheel opening, but they serves to keep splash off the side of the truck pretty well. They looked like rub rails you see on rock crawlers. For that truck I did gun metal metallic/clear powder coat to match other steel work on the truck. I guess you could do it with aluminum, but I wanted more rugged one that wouldn't get bent up
