Exterior frame for floor replacement

Just curious if anyone has made a frame to weld to the OUTSIDE of the cab to support it when replacing the floor plan. My thoughts are to build an "A" frame for the back of the cab and one for the front, with legs that go down to some casters. Weld those to the back wall and firewall, then attach some tubing beneath the cab to tie the two together. Maybe add a cross brace to the tubes tying the front and rear together. Once installed, cut the floor out and let it drop. It would eliminate working around all the bracing inside the cab. Any thoughts or experience with this would be welcome.
