How to completely remove speedometer?
thanks for the replies on the knob and spedo cable...but my odometer isn't working and I'd like to fix that as well. how do you remove the spedo complete from the cluster?
I was successful in removing the cover from the dash but everything is attached to it and i could only move it an inch or so from the dash(there's little or no slack in the cables/wires)...how are all the guages attached to it? thanks in advance...you guys have been an awsome source of help thus far! ken

Everything should be printed circuit, except the oil gauge, will have a line to it. Un hook the batterey first, then you should find a plug(high on the RH side of the panel). It has a prong on ea side that you need to depress to un hook it. Once you remove the complete panel, you can turn it over & dis mantle it from the back side. Good luck....69 longhorn.
