Who makes the best 1959 gmc disk brake kit? Want better brakes just got the truck pulls to the right hard when braking. Do you need a new master cylinder?
Thanks new to the 55-59 trucks

Pulls to the right...check your front brakes, shoes may be worn out,wheel cylinder maybe seized(left side) or right side leaking. Or all brakes out of adjustment. If your pull is not really felt in the steering possible issues in back brakes. It's cheaper to fix the brakes you have on the truck than to replace the whole setup. Going to disc brakes is a worth while endeavor,however,you will be able to fix it up and have working brakes while you do your research. I cant give you an answer on best vendor,there are many options so do your homework well.

if you still have the original axle just fix the existing drum brakes, they worked fine for the last 60 years

Good point think ill just rebuild the entire braking system on the truck. PO put in a new master cylinder.

Bleed the brakes. Air in the system will give you a pull.
