C10 disc brake conversion lowered truck

I just did a front disc conversion with stock height spindles. While I was in there I went ahead and changed my shocks, tie rod ends, and steering box. Now after finishing it up I took the truck off the lift and it is noticeably lower in the front, what happened??

I'd check with whoever you got the spindles from. (Is there a part number on them?) . I'm guessing you got "drop spindles" even though you may have ordered regular spindles.

If you still have your old spindles, you could compare them against the new ones and see if the axle stub is in the same location.

I went and looked and they do appear to be drop spindles, looks like I will be getting in contact with the seller. Thanks so much!!

Re: C10 disc brake conversion lowered truck

I’d ask for compensation through a set of 4” drop rear springs, put those in and call it good!

I love having my C10 lowered and used an ECE kit with drop spindles for the discs and added 2” drop springs as well!
