The 67-72 4wd frame uses the 1ton rear leaf spring spacing, but not the 1ton frame. A leaf spring 2wd frame is what you’d want if you’re going to be converting a frame. The trailing arm trucks rear frame dimensions do not lend themselves to a leaf spring conversioN. I have a 1 ton leaf frame in the yard with the 4wd spring hangers put on to convert it.
